About Eric

From an early age, I was fascinated by light and shadow and the way they could transform the feeling of a space. My father designed our home, inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, which sparked my lifelong appreciation for architecture and design.

I eventually moved to Los Angeles and spent more than three decades working with world-renowned photographers and directors as a lighting director and cinematographer. Along the way, I also worked as both a photographer and cinematographer, developing a deep understanding of how light, composition, and space shape an image.

While working on an editorial shoot in Malibu, I had the good fortune to meet architect Harry Gesner at his home. We spoke about his extraordinary experiences as a ski scout for the Allied forces in the French and Swiss Alps during the early 1940s, as well as his approach to architecture. His work left a lasting impression on me and rekindled my fascination with the power and beauty of architecture.

I photographed the award winning CMC Robert Day Sciences Center designed by BIG Bjarke Ingels Group and several other commercial real estate projects for KPRS Construction Services.
